J-Kidd + Kobe = could've had a ring already.

Before the Pau Gasol trade happened, the Lakers were supposed to trade Andrew Bynum for Jason Kidd. 

Kobe Bryant was the biggest supporter of this trade and even deemed General Manager Mitch Kupchak an idiot for not making it happen.

Many people, myself included, thought if he would've traded Bynum for Kidd, they would be the defending champions right now and would be on there way to a three-peat. 

They would've been the best point and shooting guard combination in NBA history. 

But now when you look at it, the Lakers are the favorites to win it all this year, and give Kobe what he's been waiting for. But if they could've gotten Gasol for Kwame Brown after the Kidd-Bynum trade, they would dominate.
