The UFC welterweight title is officially on the line, ladies and gentlemen.
After months of speculation and prediction, Carlos Condit and Georges St-Pierre took to the scale and weighed in within the welterweight limit of 170 lbs.
While the two welterweight standouts are obviously the night's main attraction, a much less-publicized fighter stole the show at the weigh-ins.
That man was "Filthy" Tom Lawlor. Lawlor is the king of kooky, and he exhibited another fine performance at the UFC 154 weigh-ins.
"Filthy" pulled off a flawless Shockmaster impersonation, and that is downright wonderful. If you're not familiar with The Shockmaster, check out this video. No, the fall was not planned, but yes, it embarrassed him and his organization. Whenever you embarrass a fake wrestling organization, you know you did something bad. Just sayin'.
The fact that Lawlor would imitate something so random and hilarious once again proves that his knack for comedy is on another level from that of his peers. The dude is hilarious, and he definitely stole the show at the UFC 154 weigh-ins.
Aside from that, the weigh-ins were weigh-ins, and nothing else of note happened. Chad Griggs still has awesome sideburns at 205, Johny Hendricks' beard is still hilarious and GSP's ass still looks fantastic in his tight shortie shorts. (For the lazies out there, Lawlor's antics are around 21:25 in the video.)
Everybody made weight, and everybody looked good, so here's to a night of fantastic fights and furious finishes!
Enjoy the fights responsibly, my friends.
