With Week 12 of the college football regular season already underway, the action of the BCS chase continues to heat up across the nation.

Here is a closer look at some of the biggest Saturday matchups, underdogs who will cover and more spread information for the all of the Top 25 teams in action.

Lock of the Week

No. 18 USC at No. 17 UCLA

Over/Under: 64.5, Spread: UCLA (+4)

In what should be one of the most exciting games of Week 12, the epic college football battle for Los Angles between UCLA and USC will have casual and diehard fans tuning in for this action.

With two of the better offensive units in the whole country and a sheer lack of elite defensive play from either side, this game will break down into a shootout rather quickly. Expect the over/under in this game to go way over.

As much as the UCLA fans want to claim their Bruins can hang with the 2012 Trojans, the two teams aren’t in the same echelon, and USC will prove it Saturday by covering the spread and winning outright convincingly.

Upset Special

No. 13 Stanford at No. 2 Oregon

Over/Under: 65.5, Spread: Oregon (-20.5)

As much as the Ducks and the team’s unbelievable offensive unit will hand Stanford a tough game, the Cardinal will give Oregon its biggest test of 2012 in Week 12.

Stanford’s 12th-ranked defense is only giving up 17.2 points per game, and something will have to give Saturday. With a 20.5 point spread, there is little doubt that most fans are leaning towards the Ducks.

While the odds are stacked against the Cardinal, this is the kind of trap game an undefeated team like Oregon could sleep on and lose. With so much on the line, the Ducks are on upset alert against Stanford.

Underdog That’ll Cover the Spread

No. 12 Oklahoma at West Virginia

Over/Under: 73.5, Spread: West Virginia (+11.5)

While the Oklahoma Sooners have received more credit than they deserve this season, what they deserve credit for the least is the play of their defense. On Saturday, the unit will be exposed by the West Virginia offensive assault.

There is no doubt that the Sooners' talented offensive unit will destroy the Mountaineers’ 122nd-ranked defense (in terms of points allowed per game), but Oklahoma will be destroyed defensively as well.

If you are wagering on this game, take the over because of the offensive showcase from both universities and West Virginia with the 11.5 points.

The Rest...

No. 10 Florida State at Maryland

Over/Under: 45.5, Spread: Maryland (+31)

Iowa at No. 21 Michigan

Over/Under: 46.5, Spread: Michigan (-17)

No. 22 Rutgers at Cincinnati

Over/Under: 48, Spread: Cincinnati (-6.5)

Western Carolina at No. 4 Alabama

Over/Under: OFF, Spread: OFF

Unfortunately, most major betting sites have turned off this matchup. If you have the Crimson Tide in a pool, feel confident taking Alabama no matter what the spread would be.

Wofford at No. 9 South Carolina

Over/Under: OFF, Spread: OFF

Unfortunately, most major betting sites have turned off this matchup. South Carolina will dominate this matchup, though.

Jacksonville State at No. 6 Florida

Over/Under: OFF, Spread: OFF

Unfortunately, most major betting sites have turned off this matchup. Despite a putrid offense, even the Florida Gators won’t lose to Jacksonville State.

Georgia Southern at No. 5 Georgia

Over/Under: OFF, Spread: OFF

Unfortunately, most major betting sites have turned off this matchup. No. 5 Georgia will destroy Georgia Southern.

No. 25 Washington at Colorado

Over/Under: 54.5, Spread: Colorado (+20.5)

Wake Forest at No. 3 Notre Dame

Over/Under: 43, Spread: Notre Dame (-24)

Ole Miss at No. 7 LSU

Over/Under: 49.5, Spread: LSU (-19)

Sam Houston State at No. 8 Texas A&M

Over/Under: OFF, Spread: OFF

Unfortunately, most major betting sites have turned off this matchup. When you have a star like Johnny Football, they just shut the betting lines down.

North Carolina State at No. 11 Clemson

Over/Under: 65.5, Spread: Clemson (-16.5)

Minnesota at No. 14 Nebraska

Over/Under: 53, Spread: Nebraska (-20)

No. 23 Texas Tech at No. 24 Oklahoma State

Over/Under: 73, Spread: Oklahoma State (-9.5)

Utah State at No. 20 Louisiana Tech

Over/Under: 73, Spread: Louisiana Tech (+3)

No. 1 Kansas State at Baylor

Over/Under: 74, Spread: Baylor (+12.5)

California at No. 16 Oregon State

Over/Under: 48, Spread: Oregon State (+14.5)
