Lions receiver Ryan Broyles was fined $10,000 by the league for an illegal crack-back block on the team's first possession Sunday in Minnesota. In the same game, Vikings linebacker Jasper Brinkley was fined $21,000 for hitting Calvin Johnson in the head. Safety Harrison Smith, who also hit Johnson in the head, was not flagged nor fined.
