NEW YORK — When we last saw Derek Jeter, he was being helped off the Yankee Stadium field in the 12th inning of Game 1 of the American League Championship Series, having just broken his left ankle. On Thursday, Yankee manager Joe Girardi said there is a chance Jeter may not be ready for Opening Day.
