Andrew Bynum has finally lost it. Not his mind, but control of his follicles which have ravaged the funny bones and tickled the fancy of NBA fans everywhere.

It's getting out of control, people.

On Wednesday night, the man who is becoming something of a professional seat-filler was present for his Sixers' game against the Detroit Pistons.

Instead of merely showing up in a suit like normal NBA players on the disabled list, he managed to start a national stir with his hair. Here is what many saw thanks to a myriad of Tweets, via Black Sports Online

Yup, that's the hair of a man who is spending far too much time worrying about his hair. What worries me is it may also be the hair of a professional basketball player slowly going nuts, and the transformation is gorgeous.

Yes, he is turning into Shirley Hemphill's character on What's Happening!!

It's just a matter of time before he comes out looking like a legend of soul.

The world couldn't merely sit back and say nothing about this hair. Twitter soon became abuzz with everything and anything dealing with the new look.

To answer Michael Smith, the answer is very soon.

So at what point are we supposed to be seriously concerned about Andrew Bynum?

Jemele Hill re-posted this wonder.

This basketball fiasco wouldn't be complete without a Jim Buss strike.

Andrew Bynum was Jim Buss' guy...Jim Buss should be arrested.

All of this means we have a new great thing in sports, and it belongs to Andrew Bynum. His hair will be the reason any of us tune in to watch a team that is 4-4 at the moment.

I never thought I would say this, but I really can't wait until the 76ers' next game.
