That's all from the live commentary today, thanks very much for joining me once again and make sure you check back to Bleacher Report throughout the coming week.
I'll have live commentary from the Champions League with Barcelona and the Europa League with Liverpool in the midweek fixtures.
We call it a day from Anfield with the scoreline ending Liverpool 3-0 Wigan.
Three points for Liverpool, two goals for Suarez—and one very happy manager in Brendan Rodgers.
See you all next time!
It's a good win in the end for Liverpool who rattled three second half goals past Wigan, thanks to two from Luis Suarez and a first goal in a Reds shirt for Jose Enrique.
Liverpool were the better side and their dominance ultimately told, despite a first half of few clear-cut chances.
Suarez takes his tally for the league campaign to 10, with that result moving his team up to 15 points and two places higher in the table as things stand in other games.
Full time at Anfield
Liverpool 3 Wigan Athletic 0
90+3'—One more chance for the Reds? Jose Enrique sends over two good crosses, one of which almost finds Shelvey's head. Wigan have everybody back defending but nobody particularly pressing.
90+2'—The match winding down to a close and three points for Liverpool. Beausejour sends over a poor cross which goes behind for a goal kick.
Four minutes added time to be played.
90'—Almost another chance for Liverpool. Gerrard sets Sterling away again and he finds Shelvey, but the shot is easy for Al-Habsi to hold at the near post.
89'—Wigan find David Jones in space in the area from a simple corner, but his shot is poor. Reina not amused with his defenders.
87'—Liverpool with no centre forward on the pitch now. Jonjo Shelvey is playing as the furthest forward player, no doubt with the instruction to press as high as possible, link up with Sterling and Enrique and get into the box when he can.
Liverpool sub: Luis Suarez replaced by Jonjo Shelvey, to rather loud applause from the home crowd.
85'—Credit to Wigan for keep pushing forward. Boyce breaks forward and slides the ball left to Jordi Gomez, but his shot spins away from goal and wide.
83'—Wigan get forward down the left but Skrtel puts an end to the move with a sliding challenge on Kone, which draws applause from the Anfield crowd. Liverpool about 10 minutes, including injury time, from their first win at Anfield in a month.
81'—There's a chance. Jose Enrique gets the ball and plays in Suarez but the shot with his left foot flies across goal and wide of the far post.
Liverpool sub: Daniel Agger off, Jamie Carragher on.
79'—Short corner from Liverpool who find Gerrard in space to shoot, but Figueroa blocks at close quarters.
78'—Jose Enrique switches play and Liverpool are getting a lot of space to break into. Sterling crosses towards Gerrard but it's cut out. Wisdom shortly after gets a chance to cross for Suarez, looking for his second hat-trick of the season, but again it's blocked.
76'—A superb spell of passing from Liverpool sees them move the ball all over the pitch and ends with Glen Johnson bombing infield from the left and driving in a low shot—which just flashes wide of Al-Habsi's post.
Shots: 19-6. On target: 9-3
Stats from ESPN.
74'—Incredible miss from two yards from Kone—but then he's flagged offside. He was waiting for the ball as Beausejour shot across goal, but only hit the post from close range.
73'—Wisdom bursts forward down the wing and finds Sterling, but his pass to Suarez is too hard to control. Might have had a shot there on his left foot, Sterling.
72'—Jordan Henderson has been excellent for Liverpool since coming on, we have to say. Energy, loads of pressing and a presence in the final third is what he's brought to the Reds team.
70'—Double sub for Wigan: Jordi Gomez and Ryo Miyaichi on for Caldwell and Di Santo.
Good opportunity immediately for Gomez but he shoots over from inside the box after Beausejour cuts the ball back.
67'—ALMOST FOUR! Jose Enrique picks up the ball in the box, flicks the pass over the defence to Henderson running onto the ball, but the midfielder volleys well over the bar.
Gary Caldwell and Franco Di Santo were booked for Wigan after that goal was scored.
Wigan are furious, Liverpool don't care. Sterling and Suarez swap passes, the former shoots and Al-Habsi makes the save—but Jose Enrique reacts far quicker than Boyce and taps home his first goal for Liverpool. Justified reward for his performance today. Wigan are angry because the move started off a throw-in which should have gone their way but was awarded to Liverpool, but really, that had very little to do with the goal being scored.

GOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!
Liverpool 3 Wigan Athletic 0
Jose Enrique, 65 mins
62'—Some fantastic moves being shown by the home side now. Gerrard shows skill and ability before setting Sterling inside the box, and his first time pass lets Suarez in for another effort, which is diverted behind. It's all Liverpool now.
61'—Brilliant again from Suarez who turns, nutmegs his man and tries to shoot—but this time scuffs his shot badly. Wigan looking very unsettled now in the defensive third.
