What do you get when you have a star running back going up against a beatable defense?
A lot of fantasy points, of course.
Week 11 of the 2012-2013 NFL campaign features some tasty matchups for the league's most productive running backs.
Here's a look at my projected top five fantasy backs for Week 11.
5. C.J. Spiller, Buffalo Bills
With Fred Jackson out with a head injury, C.J. Spiller should get plenty of opportunities to light it up against the Dolphins this week.
Spiller has scored the seventh-most fantasy points among running backs (ESPN standard leagues) in a time share with Jackson, which is frankly incredible. Just imagine what he can do with complete freedom on the football field.
And for those looking at the 3.8 yards per carry the Dolphins have allowed this season, know that Chris Johnson rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown against them last week.
4. Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens
Not only has Ray Rice scored the fifth-most fantasy points among running backs this season, the aging Steelers have been slower on defense and just allowed Jamaal Charles to rush for 100 yards and a touchdown last week.
After posting 12 points against the Oakland Raiders, I expect Rice to dominate against the Steelers on Sunday night.
3. Stevan Ridley, New England Patriots
Stevan Ridley has not only scored the sixth-most fantasy points among running backs this season, he's racked up a combined 33 fantasy points in his past two games against the Buffalo Bills and the St. Louis Rams.
Ridley gets to face the Indianapolis Colts this week, who have allowed 4.7 yards per carry (29th in the NFL) and nine rushing touchdowns through nine games.
2. Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Spectacular rookie Doug Martin has come out of nowhere (well, Boise State, technically) to post the third-most fantasy points among running backs this season.
That includes 32 points against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8 and 51 points against the Raiders in Week 9.
The Carolina Panthers have allowed 4.1 yards per carry (12th in the NFL) and seven rushing touchdowns this season. Decent, but nothing that will stop D-Mart.
1. Arian Foster, Houston Texans
The top fantasy running back this season gets to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11.
The Jaguars have allowed 4.2 yards per carry (15th in the NFL) and 14 rushing touchdowns (second-most) this season.
Two weeks ago, Mikel Leshoure and some guy named Joique Bell combined to rush for 143 yards and four touchdowns against Jacksonville.
What a Joique.
