In what can only be described as one of the greatest individual performances by any player on the International stage, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has netted four brilliant goals to lead Sweden to a 4-2 upset victory over England.
Amongst his four goals Ibrahimovic managed to net a powerful tap in, volley and long range free-kick. Despite this however, it was Ibra's fourth goal which is sure to set the footballing world on fire. Why? Well put simply, It was a 30-yard overhead bicycle! Phenomenal.
The Swede's four goals takes his total tally for his nation to 43 goals. It was a fitting way to cap of an exhilarating week for the Paris Saint-Germain forward who was awarded Sweden's Player of the Year award.
Sweden took the lead in their clash early on, but were pegged back by two England goals prior to halftime (Danny Welbeck and Steven Caulker). It was left to the 77th minute for the Swedish captain to double his tally, before netting his hat-trick just seven minutes later.
England pushed forward for the equaliser, but after Joe Hart was caught off his line, Ibrahimovic sent the Swedish crowd into raptures catching everyone off guard with his unfathomable strike.
For the most part I would say International Friendlies are not needed during this time of the season, but I am more than willing to eat my words after Ibra's four goal cameo.
What did you make of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's effort?
