If the Gators beat Florida State next week, they should play in a BCS bowl. If not, they will slip down the list toward the Outback Bowl.

The SEC is still packing the top of the BCS standings with six teams in the top nine, but looks unlikely to get a team in the national title game. If Alabama wins out, it probably heads to the Sugar Bowl. The next best team should get a spot in the Orange or Fiesta Bowl. Florida, currently sixth, will be the next highest-ranked team from the SEC if it wins the next two games to finish 11-1...
