The New York Knicks took down the sinking Orlando Magic, 99-89, in Orlando on Tuesday night.
New York outscored Orlando 50-36 in the second half to pull away from the Magic for an easy victory.
With the win, the Knicks improve to 5-0, and they stand as the league's last undefeated team. They are off to their best start since the 1993-94 season. They reached the finals that year.
For the Magic, it was their fifth straight loss as they continue to struggle with injuries. They played this game without starters Jameer Nelson and Hedo Turkoglu.
Player of the Game: Carmelo Anthony
Carmelo Anthony turned in 43 stellar minutes. He dropped 25 points on 11-of-22 shooting. He also grabbed eight rebounds, dished two assists and had a steal.

This was the first game of a three-game road trip for the Knicks. They will travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs on Thursday, and finish off the trip in Memphis against the Grizzlies the next night.

The Magic are off until Friday when they will begin a three-game road trip in Detroit against the Pistons. They will then take on the Raptors on Sunday and the Hawks on Monday.
