Paris Saint-Germain have gotten through the first of two Ligue 1 games without suspended star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic received a two game ban for his studs up challenge on Saint-Etienne's Ruffier. While he has been everything to PSG's attack this season, missing him for two Ligue 1 games could help PSG considerably.

With the Swedish striker's incredible skills, PSG's offense has ran through him for the first few months of this season.

While PSG have had success, the percentage of scoring owned by Ibrahimovic is very high. This shows an over reliance on Ibra to carry their attack.

This reliance is not from a lack of options. Menez, Pastore, Lavezzi, and others are all high caliber players who can fill a score sheet.

PSG has the make up of a team who should not have any issue with finding the back of the net, they have had trouble with consistency so far. It started in week one with Ibra leading them from two down to tie Lorient.

Since that game, most of PSG's squad has seemed to be all to willing to wait on some Ibra magic instead of forcing the issue on their own.

There have been moments of teamwork and others stepping to the forefront, but these have been few and far between as far as fans are concerned.

Though it is only two games Ibra will miss in Ligue 1, it is two games where PSG can work on utilizing the overall talent in their attack and realize that working with Ibra instead of in his shadow is the way PSG can become the dominant force expected.

Ancelotti understands this as well. In last weeks Champions League match, Ibrahimovic was utilized in a little deeper role where he assisted on all four goals.

As more of the squad realizes that playing with Ibra is much better then just taking the field with him, then PSG has a bright road ahead.
