Can Stanford Derail Oregon's National Championship Run?
A huge Pac-12 game will take center stage in Week 12 and the matchup between Oregon and Stanford could be extremely impactful on the national championship picture and the Rose Bowl.
Oregon, of course, is taking over the role as favorite now that Alabama’s unbeaten season has come to a close. Stanford, meanwhile, is playing with a new quarterback and suddenly have the Rose Bowl very much in their sights.
The Ducks are beat up and battered, especially in the front seven, which isn’t good news with a run-heavy Stanford team coming into town. But, with Oregon’s offense more prolific than ever, does it matter?
You can expect Stanford to try and expose these holes and dictate the tempo, although can anyone else possibly control the pace of a game that Oregon is in, especially in their own building?
An upset isn’t out of reach but it will take quite an effort.
