The New York Jets struggled offensively in their Week 10 loss to Seattle. Will their second straight NFC West opponent keep Mark Sanchez grounded?
The Jets (3-6) have finally begun their slide out of AFC contention. Mark Sanchez has not played well, although the running game hasn't given him much help. Jets head coach Rex Ryan reportedly cried in front of his team after that loss to the Seahawks. It might be too early to presume that Ryan is already packing up his office, but the Jets appear to be lame ducks for the balance of 2012.
The Rams (3-5-1), on the other hand, are an organization on the rise, and this weekend's matchup represents a good test for them. After playing division rival San Francisco to a draw in Week 10, Jeff Fisher's team needs to show that they can close out an opponent at home. Their defense has impressed in games against passing-heavy teams, and one would expect this matchup to favor the Rams considerably.
