The Philadelphia Eagles Are on the Clock for the 2013 NFL Draft
Sitting at 3-6, in the midst of a five-game losing streak, it would appear the Philadelphia Eagles are on the clock for the 2013 draft.
Jumping the gun? Maybe. But it's pretty clear the Eagles have quit on head coach Andy Reid. Their starting quarterback is hurt, his rookie backup, Nick Foles, is extremely green, and the defense—which was actually playing well prior to the bye week—has not improved after the coordinator switch. In fact, they're playing worse.
If Reid is fired and a whole new coaching staff is on board for 2013, could the Eagles be ready to pull the plug on both Vick and Foles? New regimes tend to like having their own guys to build around, especially at the quarterback position.
In the video above, Matt Miller and I take a look at the Eagles' needs on both sides of the ball, with Miller giving a few of his choices who could possibly be Philly-bound next April.
Let us know in the comments below which areas you think the Eagles need to target in the draft and let us know what you think of Matt's choices.
