Last week, Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson went down early with an ankle injury, and it didn't take long for another stud wideout to suffer a leg injury of his own, as Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons left with a shin injury against the New Orleans Saints. 

For fans around the league, seeing your favorite players pop up on the injury list can be a punch to the gut, but we'll keep track of all the latest injuries and updates around the league as Sunday's action rolls on.

Fred Jackson

After leaving Sunday’s game with a head injury, star running back Fred Jackson was reportedly feeling sick with concussion-like symptoms on the plane flight back to Buffalo, according the head coach Chan Gailey via the Bills Official Twitter account:

With the team scheduled for a Thursday night meeting with the Miami Dolphins, there are serious questions about the starting back’s status.

According to Viking Update, Lions defensive end Cliff Avril was evaluated for a concussion and is questionable to return to the game vs. the Minnesota Vikings:

UPDATE 11/12 at 8:30 a.m. ET: Avril officially suffered a concussion against the Vikings and did not return to the game, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.

 

Chris Houston

According to the Lions' official Twitter feed, cornerback Chris Houston left the game with an ankle injury and is questionable to return:

UPDATE 11/12 at 8:30 a.m. ET: Houston did not return to the game Sunday, but Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press is reporting on the extent of his injury: Cornerback Chris Houston said he doesn't think the sprained right ankle he suffered Sunday will be a problem going forward.

Kansas City Chiefs

According to Randy Covitz of the Kansas City Star, Baldwin left Monday night's game against the Steelers, noting that "came off the field and was being evaluated for either a head or neck injury" after attempting to make a tough catch.

According to Eagles Insider, Michael Vick will miss the remainder of Sunday's game versus the Dallas Cowboys:

UPDATE 11/12 at 8:30 a.m. ET: After the Eagles loss to the Dallas Cowboys Sunday, ESPN.com's Dan Graziano was reporting on Vick’s condition and his coach’s words about remaining a starter if he’s healthy:

Vick did not talk to reporters but appeared groggy in the locker room. Eagles coach Andy Reid said Vick would remain Philadelphia's starting quarterback if healthy but acknowledged that the four-time Pro Bowler still must undergo tests.
