HOUSTON -- Lawrence Frank put the label on the Detroit Pistons' road finale himself when he dubbed it a "test of character" just more than an hour beforehand, the last game of a winless road trip, after an encouraging performance the night before in Oklahoma City, and a measure of whether his team would seek the finish or play to the finish.
