Chicago Bears vs. San Francisco 49ers: Preview and Predictions

The San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears will both spend the week wondering who their starting quarterback will be in this matchup. If both are forced to start their back up quarterback, you have to think that favors the 49ers.

When Colin Kaepernick was forced into action against the Rams on Sunday, the 49ers seemed to hardly skip a beat on offense. When Jason Campbell came in after halftime for the Bears, their offense seemed to wilt. Some of that was due to the weather, but Campbell was certainly Captain Checkdown for most of the night. He has to start taking shots downfield.

On the other side of the ball, the Rams were able to move the ball pretty well against a 49ers defense that hasn't looked like the dominant unit we saw over the course of the first month or so of the season. While it's not exactly alarming, the Niners defense needs to get back to its suffocating ways to help an offense that isn't always able to put up big points.

In the video above, we look at some of the biggest matchups and give our picks for the game. Let us know in the comments below who you'll be watching and who you think wins between the Niners and Bears.
