Notebook: Injured Mississippi State RB Perkins Misses Game

BATON ROUGE — Mississippi State running back LaDarius Perkins missed the first game of his career with an injured leg. Perkins, who started all nine games prior to the 22nd-ranked Bulldogs’ 37-17 loss to No. 9 LSU on Saturday, strained a quad muscle during practice Wednesday, MSU coach Dan Mullen said.
