Houston Rockets vs. Memphis Grizzlies 11/9/12: Video Highlights and Recap

Turnovers killed the Houston Rockets as they dropped Friday night’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies by a 93-85 margin. In fact, they turned it over a season-high 20 times en route to blowing an early 10-point first-quarter lead.

James Harden had five of those 20 turnovers himself and also struggled from the floor, shooting just 1-of-6 from the three-point line and 4-of-18 overall from the field. He’s made just two of his last 17 three-point attempts over the past three games after starting out red-hot for the Rockets.

The Grizz shot just 37 percent from the field but improved to an impressive 4-1 thanks to solid performances by Zach Randolph and Rudy Gay.

Memphis also had a great effort from their bench who played tenacious defense and outscored the Rockets’ bench, 29-15.

Player of the Game: Zach Randolph

Randolph, sporting an American flag headband for Veterans Day weekend, wasn’t the high scorer for the Grizz but he made the biggest impact with his presence down low.

He finished with 15 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks.
