I've told you about some of the history of Toryumon and Dragon Gate. I've introduced you to it. And since nobody seems to want to get me DG infinity 123 right now, I am going to introduce you (That's right you) to the Dragon Gate Roster.
First up we are going to cover KAMIKAZE. I will attempt to slowly cover every faction in DG currently.
(This is up to date as of March 17 2009 since DG wrestlers change factions quite often I can't promise long lasting accuracy.)
As usual any questions MSN me at Alex.Veley@celebration.fl.us (Don't email me at that address as I don't read it. Or feel free to email me at punch999@gmail.com
Kamikaze Faction
Kamikaze is one of, if not the top Face faction and is built of some of the best wrestlers in DG today.
The faction is absolutely centered around Shingo Takagi, but also includes Dragon Kid, Akira Tozawa, Taku Iwasa and Kenshin Chikano.
Shingo Takagi
Shingo Takagi (AKA SHINGO in the USA) debuted in 2004 and is one of the strongest members of the roster.
Although he was a Pro Bodybuilder his sites were always on pro wrestling.
When asked to take a middle school questionnaire about what jobs he would like to have when he grows up he answered All Japan, New Japan and FMW.
The leader of the Kamikaze faction he naturally has a strong feud with YAMATO
Dragon Kid
Dragon Kid was one of the first trainees from the Toryumon System. Trained by Ultimo Dragon, Dragon was so impressed with him that he let him have a gimmick referencing him.
Originally a referee for FMW when Dragon Kid heard that Ultimo Dragon was accepting trainees regardless of their size he signed up immediately.
One of the most recognizable members of the DG roster he is currently working in KAMIKAZE.
Akira Tozawa
Akira Tozawa was part of the third class of DG (Not Toryumon) Graduates. Having a very slow start he was sent back to the Dojo for further training.
Having accomplished very little and with his rumored bad attitude backstage, KAMIKAZE is one of the first major pushes he has gotten.
Taku Iwasa
Taku Iwasa debuted for T2P in 2001 and saw limited success and then changed to the incredibly famous American gimmick when he teamed as the Florida Brothers.
After wrestling for so long he is finally seeing success as a singles wrestler as a member of KAMIKAZE.
Kenshin Chikano
Kenshin Chikano just debuted in the last month of 2008 and was almost immediatly put into KAMIKAZE. Using a kicking based moveset he has impressed almost all immediately.
