MSG First-Timer

bianca solariContributor IMarch 16, 2009

I made my way up to MSG for the first time last Sunday.

I hoped for a good game, just like the Flyers home game versus the Rangers the day before.

Obviously, that didn't happen.

Flyers played like crap and why we didn't they start Biron?

I really couldn't tell you.

That's beside the point, though.

I loved seeing The Garden, it's been on my list of things to do before I die for a long time.

Finally, I can check it off.

I was warmly welcomed from Rangers fans surrounding me.

With antagonizing words and "Let's go Rangers" chants—nothing compared to Philly, though.

If I could pick one thing that I liked the Rangers for, it would have to be their cheer played after they score a goal.

That's it.

Not much of a cheering section besides that.

It's okay though, I mean when you come from such an intense, intimidating city of Philadelphia it's a hard thing to compare to.

Could've been that it was a Sunday, but no excuses.

We'll get 'em next time Fly Guys.
