Atlanta Falcons 27, New Orleans Saints 31 — Final

The Atlanta Falcons fell to 8-1 after the heartbreaking loss to the New Orleans Saints at the end of the game. The Falcons couldn't punch it in from one yard out and then couldn't gain a yard on a fourth down that would have given them one more chance to win.

Matt Ryan finished with the best game of his career going 34-for-52 (65.4 percent) for 411 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. The Falcons defense had trouble against the run all day giving up 148 yards total.

Drew Brees had great game as well going 21-for-32 (65.6 percent) for 298 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Jimmy Graham and Tony Gonzalez both had tremendous games where they each eclipsed 100 yards and two touchdowns.
