The Only Thing That Matt Jones Wants to Catch Is a Case

Here we go again. We are all numb to the arrests of football players off of the field by now, but the Jaguars finally said goodbye to wide receiver Matt Jones.

The Jaguars had a great deal of work to do through free agency and the draft on offense, but now they may as well admit that they are starting from scratch seeing as how they chose to release Jones.

After a more productive season than the previous two for the Jaguars, Jones "habit" caught up to him again.

Although, the Jags did the best thing for the team as a whole by releasing Jones today, they have a great deal of work to do.

Maybe with a clean slate, the Jaguars can begin to build a program that will allow them to finally get over the hurdle and into a Super Bowl.
