Saint Joseph's coach Phil Martelli on Thursday suspended leading scorer Carl Jones for three games because of an undisclosed violation of university standards.
Jones, a 5-11 guard from Garfield Heights, Ohio, averaged 17.0 points, 3.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds last season.
