We've got another debate for you here on The Program as the season slowly ticks closer to the time when players get their awards. The Heisman Trophy is the most popular piece of hardware, and the 2012 season has had several favorites fall by the wayside.
First it was Matt Barkley, in his loss to Stanford, who disappeared from the Heisman leaderboard. Then Geno Smith, he of mega-stats fame, vanished after his team was dismantled two weeks in a row. De'Anthony Thomas never really gained traction, as he has been less than impactful as the Pac-12 season has worn on.
That has put Kansas State's Collin Klein and Notre Dame's Manti Te'o at the top of the Heisman list come November. Marc Kohn and Michael Felder debate who they like to win the Heisman. Felder, being the defense-first guy that he is, rolls with Te'o, while Kohn backs the quarterback Klein.
Who do you think should be the Heisman favorite, Klein or Te'o? Or should it be someone else?
