Marcel Reece: Will the Pass-Catching Fullback Carry the Load?
With starting running back Darren McFadden and backup Mike Goodson both suffering from high-ankle sprains, it is likely that Marcel Reece will see an increased workload in Week 10 at Baltimore against the Ravens.
The only question that remains for Reece is how will he be utilized? the fourth year man out of Washington has developed into a dangerous pass-catching fullback for the Raiders and has been extremely affective doing so.
Reece has not carried the ball much out of the backfield but we have seen him make plenty of plays as a wide receiver.
The speedy fullback had a career day in Week 9 during a 42-32 loss to the Buccaneers. Reece hauled in a career high 8 receptions for 95 yards, another career best. One of those receptions was Reece's first receiving touchdowns of the season.
This Sunday presents the perfect opportunity for Reece to really showcase his skills as the Raiders will be without McFadden.
