The red-hot Dallas Mavericks continued their winning ways on Wednesday night with a 109-104 win over the Toronto Raptors.

With the win, the Mavs moved to an impressive 4-1 on the young season.

Chris Kaman and O.J. Mayo led the team with 22 while Vince Carter added 17 off the bench and Darren Collison had 15.

Andrea Bargnani poured in 25 and DeMar DeRozan added 24 for the Kyle Lowry-less Raptors, who fell to 1-4 with the defeat.

Player of the Game: Chris Kaman

Last game, it was O.J. Mayo (who was pretty good in this one, too). Wednesday night, it was Chris Kaman. Maybe that Mark Cuban guy is pretty smart, after all.

Kaman scored 22 on just 15 shots. He also chipped in eight rebounds, three assists and a block in easily his best performance of the year.

Up Next for Toronto

The Raptors have a few days off before they try to right the ship at home against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

Up Next for Dallas

The Mavericks travel to New York on Friday to take on the Knicks in a battle of two of the hottest teams in the league.
