Worst NFL Actors: BR5

BR5Daily ShowNovember 7, 2012

Welcome to BR5, your destination for all things sports and pop culture.

NFL players are pretty comfortable on the gridiron, but when they're acting in front of the camera, it's a different story. Athletes have always been potentially cringe-worthy when on the big screen, and it's all the more painful when they're some of the most celebrated in the game.

Big names like Brett Favre and Dan Marino are no strangers to throwing touchdowns, but when it comes to the silver screen, they throw nothing but incompletions. Even when players like Lawrence Taylor try to poke fun at some of their off-field indiscretions, it just comes off as awful.

Actors don't usually try to become professional athletes, so maybe NFL players should follow suit.
