Breakout Fantasy Football Player for Week 10

Owen ClarkCorrespondent IIINovember 6, 2012

Conventional wisdom going into the season was Brandon Lloyd would be a boom-or-bust fantasy player.

You would either get the Denver edition, who led the league in receiving despite catching balls from Kyle Orton, or you would get the guy who has been a borderline flex play for most of his 10 NFL seasons.

Instead, Lloyd has been just kind of boring as a Patriot—three TDs, 435 yards, 37 receptions—not what you expected from a guy with such a huge chasm between his fantasy floor and ceiling.

Fantasy owners who started Lloyd last week got two scores and signs of life that he is earning the trust of Tom Brady.

Check out why Lloyd could be ready to really explode in Week 10 in this week’s Breakout Fantasy Performer.
