Mason's season is not over yet. While they cannot win the NCAA title, they have the opportunity to play in the National Invitational Tournament, which kicks off on Tuesday night.

The Patriots will travel to State College, Penn., to face the Nittany Lions of Penn State at the Bryce Jordan Center. Tip-off is slated for 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPNU.

The Nittany Lions finished 22-11, and they are 5-0 lifetime against Mason, 3-0 since Jim Larranaga took over in Fairfax. Mason comes in 22-10 and are fresh off their 21-point defeat in the Colonial Athletic Association championship game against VCU.

The Mar. 17 game will mark the four-year anniversary of Mason winning their first-ever NCAA Tournament game in Dayton against the Michigan State Spartans 75-65.
