The Nov. 5 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, from Birmingham, England, opened with a video package recapping the latest turn of events between CM Punk and Ryback.

Backstage, Punk’s manager Paul Heyman and The Miz get into a confrontation about the Survivor Series pay-per-view. The Miz tells Heyman he will be leaving Punk’s team.

Match No. 1: Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara and R-Truth vs. Antonio Cesaro, Titus O’Neil and Darren Young.

Your winners via pin fall: Mysterio, Cara and Truth. That was a pretty decent opening match to kick things off on Monday Night Raw with some good in-ring action.

Match Rating: 3.5/5

After the commercial break, Raw general manager Vickie Guerrero is introduced to the ring to a chorus of boos from the crowd. Guerrero speaks over the loud crowd and begins to discuss about the alleged John Cena footage with former General Manager AJ Lee.

Cena interrupts to a mixed crowd reaction and heads to the ring. Cena fires back at Guerrero, informing Vickie about her scandals in the past few years. Guerrero presents more evidence on the large screen of Cena’s involvement with Lee.

Guerrero continues her rant, asking Lee to come out. Lee appears on the screen and tells Guerrero she should not want her out there. Suddenly, Dolph Ziggler enters the picture, telling Lee she loves doing whatever she likes to do. Cena runs backstage as Guerrero laughs in the ring before a commercial break.

Backstage, Heyman attempts to persuade Wade Barrett to join Punk’s team at Survivor Series. After telling Heyman he has no interest, Barrett immediately reconsiders and elects to join the team.

Match No. 2: Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan.

Your winner via pinfall: Rhodes. Very quick second match that saw Rhodes pick up a surprising victory. Afterwards, Rhodes grabs a microphone and tells the crowd that his partner, Damien Sandow, could easily beat Kane, who is waiting in the ring.

Kane grabs Sandow into the ring as a commercial break appears.

Match Rating: 2.5/5

Match No. 3: Kane vs. Damien Sandow.

Your winner via pinfall: Kane. This match was used as payback for Rhodes’ victory over Bryan. However, there was nothing impressive to cover about this match. Both the Rhodes against Bryan and Kane vs. Sandow matches fell flat with the crowd.

Match Rating: 2.5/5

WWE announcer Michael Cole introduces referee Brad Maddox to the ring. Cole asks Maddox whether he is working with Punk and Heyman. Maddox says it was all him who cost Ryback the match at Hell in a Cell and that all he ever wanted was to be a WWE superstar.

Maddox claims he sent tapes and participated in tryouts to get on the WWE roster. After being presented with a developmental contract, Maddox said even there he could not make it there. Maddox continues to speak about being a WWE referee and that all he needed was one chance to make an impact on his lost career.

Suddenly, Vince McMahon emerges to the top of the entrance way. McMahon tells Maddox he will give him a $1 million contract if he can beat Ryback next week on Raw. After Guerrero arrives next to McMahon, Vince suggests a triple threat match at Survivor Series between Punk, Ryback and Cena for the WWE Championship.

Match No. 4: Sheamus vs. The Miz.

Your winner via pinfall: Sheamus. Hard fought victory for Sheamus. This match helps give Sheamus momentum and poise to defeat the Big Show to regain the World Heavyweight title.

Match Rating: 3.5/5

Match No. 5: Eve Torres and Aksana vs. Kaitlyn and Layla.

Your winners via pinfall: Kaitlyn and Layla. Good to see that the WWE gave the Diva’s match more time instead of making it the usual quick filler.

Match Rating: 2.5/5

Match No. 6: Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio.

Your winner via pinfall: Kofi Kingston. During the final moments of the match, Randy Orton’s music suddenly played, allowed Kingston to nail the victory. After Kingston left the ring, Orton delivered a RKO on Del Rio.

Match Rating: 3/5

Match No. 7: Santino Marella and Zack Ryder vs. Primo and Epico

Your winner via pinfall: Santino and Ryder. Surprisingly, this was a decent tag team match to watch. Santino and Ryder can sure make an entertaining tag team group.

Match Rating: 3/5

Match No. 8: Brodus Clay vs. Wade Barrett

Your winner via pinfall: Barrett. This match outcome was very predictable, considering Barrett is from England.

Match Rating: 2.5/5

Match No. 9: Heath Slater vs. Jay Uso.

Your winner via pinfall: Slater. This match was simply a filler leading into the main event.

Match Rating: 2/5

Punk and Heyman come out to the ring. Punk states that he has been WWE champion for over 350 days and that it proves he is better than anyone else.

Match No. 10: CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena and Ryback

Your winner via pinfall: Ryback and Cena. Ryback looked completely dominant towards the end of the match. After the pinfall and a short celebration by Ryback, Cena steps into the ring and a showdown occurs as Raw closes.

Match Rating: 3.5/5
