The Phoenix Suns hung around until the second half at AmericanAirlines Arena on Monday, but LeBron James and the Miami Heat ultimately went on one of their notorious runs to emerge victorious, 124-99.
Not only did five different Heat players score in double digits, Miami also held Phoenix to 39 percent shooting.
The Heat had a 17-point lead in the second quarter, but the Suns went on a run to make it a 12-point deficit at the half.
Then, James and the Heat caught fire, going on a 13-0 run en route to a 98-74 lead after three quarters.
The rest was history, as the Heat cruised to a win in the fourth quarter.
Miami shot 55 percent from the floor, including 15-for-26 from beyond the arc. Ray Allen knocked down three three-pointers en route to 15 points.

The game ball could have gone to several Heat players, but James was a big part of the run in the third quarter that essentially put the game away.
James went 10-for-17 from the field with 23 points and 11 rebounds while posting a game-high plus-25.

The Suns visit the 1-1 Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday. Charlotte won its first game of the season against the Indiana Pacers, then got blown out by the Dallas Mavericks.
