Tonight's games: Notre Dame vs. George Mason, Wisconsin vs. Cal State-Fullerton, UCLA vs. MVSU, West Virginia vs. Arizona

McAlarney starts the bowl (ball) rolling for Notre Dame. This should be a fun one to watch. A lot of fast-paced action. ND 8-7 with only 2.5 gone.

I'd be afraid to get in Luke Harangody's way...Very afraid. He isn't so much human as he was built by two men, one with a bad case of a herniated disc.

Harangody just got fouled by a refugee from the Bolshevik Revolution. Or the Berkeley movement in the 60s. Guess Cal was so pissed at being left out they went Abbie Hoffman and crashed the party. Damn hippies.

Cal State-Fullerton and Wisconsin just tipped off. The Titans hope for a repeat of their '78 Elite Eight run. I'm serious. Look it up.

ND is rolling 17-7. 'Zona and West Virginia just tipped off.

Harangody made Chris Fleming eat a Spalding sandwich. Fleming complains to the refs that it wasn't served with dijon mustard. The ref tells Fleming to sit down.

Titans 10-6 over the Badgers. Mountaineers 8-3.

17-0 run for the Irish. So much for Jim Larranaga's levitation homes theory.

Josh Akognon just buried a three for the Titans. Akognon also led the Cylons against Battlestar Galactica.

West Virginia 10-7. Chase Budinger has four for 'Zona and after the season will be playing the Albino Abe Lincoln at the Springfield, Illinois History Fest in July.

UCLA and MVSU tipped off. Methinks the Delta Devils may be singing the B.B. King soundtrack after this one is over.

Will Thomas has half of George Mason's 11 points. He's another one who should get NBA consideration but could be a case of a three trapped in a four's body.

The two skater punks from High Fidelity are wearing contrasting suits in Wisconsin colors.

Fullerton can't buy a basket but have plenty of turnovers for sale.

Wisconsin's size advantage is coming in huge. The Titans don't have anybody over 6-foot-6 who plays significant minutes. If you're under 6-foot-6 you're not allowed to suit up for the Badgers.

Kevin Love is outscoring Miss. Valley 10-6. Though in all fairness Miss Valley is a sweet lady.

WVU 22-17. George Mason down 33-21 with Thomas still carrying the load. Fullerton, for a small team, rebounds fairly well and is hoping their helter-skelter style will confound the Badgers, but UW is up 28-22 for the moment.

Titans cut it to two on a Ray Reed layup.

The UCLA game is over. Well at 33-8 it darn well should be.

Fullerton ties it, but Greg Stiemsma puts Wisconsin up by two at the half.

Arizona has a bright future. Hill, Bayless, and Budinger could dominate next year if they all stick around for Lute's return.

Kevin Love has nearly doubled up MVSU 15-8.

Joe Alexander picks up his second foul with .3 seconds left. WVU 31-30 at the half.

The UCLA isn't really fair. 40-16 at the half. Go ahead and pen the Bruins in Round Two.

Notre Dame also seems to have things in hand. 40-23 with the under-16 commercials.

Helter-skelter may be getting to the Badgers. 30-30 and they're only shooting 33 percent.

Scott Cutley puts the Titans ahead and has time to add more skin art.
