USC's 62-51 setback to No. 2 Oregon wasn't the only big loss for the Trojans over the weekend, as top recruit Max Redfield (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo) announced on his Facebook page that he was decommitting from USC. Redfield is the No. 2 ranked safety in California and ranked 31st overall in the country by Rivals.com. "Going back on my word is something I never imagined doing and it hurts me to do it, but in the end I feel is necessary to do in order to decide what college I want to go to and in the end what path I want to take in life. For many different reasons I am choosing to decommit from USC and re-open recruiting," Redfield wrote on his Facebook page.
