NFL Pigskin Preview Week 10: Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Indianapolis Colts have been one of the surprises of this year's AFC. How likely is it that the Jacksonville Jaguars could surprise them on a short week?
Indianapolis (5-3) has seen its No. 1 overall pick live up to the hype. Quarterback Andrew Luck, considered a can't-miss prospect coming out of Stanford, has played with a veteran's poise. The team has also enjoyed stellar performances from veterans like Dwight Freeney and other, less-heralded newcomers such as running back Vick Ballard.
Jacksonville (1-7) hasn't won a game since facing the Colts in its own building in Week 3. The Jaguars' best player, running back Maurice Jones-Drew, went down recently, and though backup Rashad Jennings has filled in admirably, the woeful Jags clearly miss their favorite weapon. The defense is young and unfinished, and first-year head coach Mike Mularkey enters the second half of 2012 with far more questions than answers.
