The Bills kept it close for a while against the AFC's best team, but in the end, Houston, even on a day when it wasn't nearly at its best, was too good for Buffalo.

With running back Arian Foster topping 100 yards rushing, wide receiver Andre Johnson surpassing 100 yards receiving, and the Texans vaunted Wade Phillips-led defense keeping the anemic Buffalo offense out of the end zone, Houston captured a 21-9 victory, dropping the Bills to 3-5 at the midpoint of their season.
