The Orlando Magic trailed the Phoenix Suns 46-56 at halftime. They won, 115-94.
I'm not exactly sure what 37-year-old Jacque Vaughn said at intermission, but it worked. The Magic doubled up the Suns, 40-20, in the third quarter and finished them off strong with a 29-18 final period.
Orlando got a balanced attack on offense. Five players, led by J.J. Redick's 24 points off the bench, scored in double figures, and three hit the 20-point mark.
The Magic moved to an unexpected 2-0 with the impressive home win, while Phoenix, which was led by Luis Scola's 24 points, fell to 1-2.

Player of the Game: Nikola Vucevic
Honestly, you could pick a slew of players. Glen Davis had 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals. Arron Afflalo also chipped in 22. Redick had 24 and six assists off the bench. E'Twaun Moore had 15 points, six assists and three steals.
It's hard to beat Vucevic, though. The second-year big man tallied 18 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and a ridiculous plus/minus of plus-26, which was by far the best on the team.
The future is starting to look brighter by the day for this young Magic squad.
