The Denver Broncos took their show on the road in Week 9 and defeated the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 31-23.
Peyton Manning was picked off twice, but he and his offense relentlessly attacked the secondary of the Bengals all afternoon. He ended the game with 291 yards and three touchdowns, to go along with his two interceptions.
Eric Decker was the MVP of the offense for the Broncos, hauling in eight catches for 99 yards and two touchdown scores.
Von Miller was the MVP on defense, as he ended up with three sacks, four quarterback hits and three more tackles for a loss. Champ Bailey pitched in an interception, and the Broncos defense effectively held off the Bengals passing attack.
Andy Dalton did manage to pass for 299 yards, but he only completed 26-of-42 passes on the game and was held to just one touchdown pass—a 10-yard strike to A.J. Green in the third quarter.
The Broncos improved to 5-2 on the season and will travel to face the Carolina Panthers in Week 10, while the Bengals fell to 3-5 and will host the New York Giants.
