Ohio State Notebook: Miller Improves Passing, but Meyer Not Satisfied
Greg Bartram-US PRESSWIRE

A year ago against Illinois, Braxton Miller completed only 1 of 4 passes — a touchdown to Jake Stoneburner in Ohio State’s 17-7 win. Miller’s passing was a bigger factor yesterday in a 52-22 win over the Illini. The sophomore completed 12 of 20 passes for 226 yards for 18.8 yards per completion. The numbers would have been better if not for a couple of drops — oddly, by Stoneburner — in the third quarter.
