Controversial Notre Dame Pass Interference Call: Refs Blow It
With No. 3 Notre Dame trailing Pittsburgh by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, the Fighting Irish went for it on 4th-and-4. Golson lofted it up in the air for tight end Tyler Eifert and the ball was knocked away.
The refs called pass interference and the drive was kept alive. Notre Dame would go on to score on that same possession.
The controversial pass interference call had just about everyone on Twitter up in arms.
On PI call against PIT I don't think it's a foul. Both playing ball and not enough contact to be interference.
