Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat: Live Score, Results and Game Highlights
With the third quarter in the books, it's the Denver Nuggets who are up 91-87 over the Miami Heat! Despite a hot crowd in Miami, the Nuggets have controlled the pace of this game and are dominating much more than the scoreboard would suggest.

Keys to the Game
3. Interior Dominance
The Miami Heat may have won this game, but they were absolutely decimated on the interior.
Led by Kenneth Faried, the Denver Nuggets finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. They consistently found the lane, scoring at virtual will and exposing the Heat's position-less defense by playing big.
In turn, the Nuggets controlled the pace of this game. If not for missed opportunities, they would have taken home the W.
The Heat should feel good about the win. They shouldn't be too pleased with the Nuggets' exploiting just how to overcome the Heat's athleticism.
Attack with no fear and ignore the allure of a name.
2. Three-Point Shooting
If not for the three-point shot, the Miami Heat would have lost this game by double-digits.
Miami connected on 10 three-point shots, including six in a first quarter in which the Nuggets were dominating the pace of the game. The most important three-ball came when Ray Allen connected on a three-ball with 06.7 remaining, giving the Heat the permanent lead.
Allen would finish with six three-pointers on 10 attempts.
Shane Battier, Mike Miller and Chris Bosh would combine for the other four. Without those ten threes, this would have been a lopsided affair won by the Denver Nuggets.
1. Chris Bosh
Talk about LeBron James' near triple-double all you want. The story of the night, however, was Chris Bosh's monster 40-point performance.
From the opening tip to the final buzzer, Bosh was everywhere. His mid-range game was nearly perfect, while his interior scoring helped overcome the dominance the Nuggets' frontcourt put forth.
Bosh would finish the game by shooting 15-of-22 from the floor, 1-of-3 from distance and 9-of-10 from the charity stripe. He'd also tally seven rebounds, two assists and one steal en route to the inevitable Player of the Game honors.
The forgotten member of the Big Three stepped up in a major way.
Final Score: Denver Nuggets 116 - 119 Miami Heat
