LeBron James and Dwyane Wade shot well from the floor, but turnovers and the red-hot outside shooting of the New York Knicks saw the Miami Heat fall at Madison Square Garden on Friday night, 104-84.

Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 30 points, adding 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals along the way. Four other Knicks also scored in double digits, including Steve Novak, who shot 6-of-10 from the floor and 5-of-8 from three-point range to end up with 17 points.

Through three quarters, the Knicks were leading by 18 points, as Carmelo Anthony hit some big shots and his teammates came along for the ride. The Knicks had 15 three-pointers through three quarters, finishing 19-of-36 from beyond the arc. They actually shot better from downtown than they did on two-point attempts.

Miami committed 21 turnovers in the game. James, Wade and Chris Bosh combined for 12 of those turnovers.

Player of the Game: Carmelo Anthony, SF

This was really a team effort, but Carmelo gets the game ball with his 30-point, 10-rebound performance. He provided energy early as the Knicks unbelievably coasted to a victory.
