FC Barcelona vs. Celtic FC in UEFA Champions League
Celtic FC and FC Barcelona will face each other this Tuesday at Celtic Park in Glasgow, Scotland, in the second meeting between the Group G clubs in the early stages of UEFA Champions League (UCL) competition.
The two teams are in the process of attempting to advance to the next round. The first meeting was not easy for FC Barcelona.
Andres Iniesta and Jordi Alba saved Barca from certain defeat—Iniesta with an equalizer and Alba with a goal in the last minute. It may not be that way the second time.
Here are five bold predictions ahead of the match.
Georgios Samaras Scoring the First Goal for Celtic FC
Celtic FC will surprise a Barca team that underestimates its opponents. Giorgios Samaras will score two goals within the 20 minute mark of the first half.
The crowd will be roaring with approval with the goals.
Samaras' two goals will be a warning sign for Barcelona, and the Catalan club will reinforce its defense and midfield section.
Barca will go on and dominate the latter part of the first half.
Cesc Fabregas will score one goal with at least five minutes remaining before the break, while Jordi Alba will grab the equalizer with almost no time left in the half.
The teams will go in tied 2-2 at the interval.
Gary Hooper will start the second half of the match by scoring inside five minutes.
Jordi Alba will score his second equalizer of the match before the hour.
Lionel Messi will appear within the last 20 minutes of the match and score three goals in that span.
Celtic FC 3-6 FC Barcelona
The predictions are based on a personal opinion which may or may not occur in the actual match. My thanks to the B/R readers for their time with this slideshow.
My best wishes until next time.
