Passing Game Falters with Drops, Lack of Long Plays
Michigan backup quarterback Russell Bellomy took heat for his poor passing performance Saturday against Nebraska. Most of the criticism was deserved, but not all was his fault.
The receivers and tight ends dropped a few passes. That made it difficult for Bellomy, who started 0-for-10 and finished 3-for-16, to get any rhythm.
A few throws were off target, but receivers still got their hands on the pass.
