WWE News: Former WWE Diva Releasing Nude Photos After Laptop Is Stolen
Some interesting news coming from TMZ.com.
The entertainment site is reporting that former WWE Diva Amy Weber is taking matters into her own hands after having her laptop was stolen.
The article states:
Ex-WWE Diva Amy Weber had a full spread of naked photos on her laptop that got stolen last week—so rather than wait for some lowlife hacker to make money off "leaked" nude pics...she decided to release them for FREE!!!
Amy's laptop was swiped from her car last Wednesday while she was playing with her kids at an L.A. park—and she tells us, the computer contained a nude spread she shot for Playboy that never made it to print.
Rather than sit and wait for the pics to surface on some seedy website, Weber tells us, she and her management team decided to release the photos on their own terms.
Now, some of you may be asking: Who is Amy Weber? You may remember her from her brief stint as a member of JBL's Cabinet in 2005, where she was listed as an "Image Consultant" for the WWE champ. Ultimately, her time in the WWE was brief, as she only lasted less than a year.
Overall, this is cool news considering most celebs would hide from the naughty photos rather than own their previous choices. To me, she should be applauded for the decision to release the nude pics. As it not only empowers her, but it keeps her from dealing with further drama of having some random person attempting to extort money from her over the pictures.
After this news broke, Weber took to her Twitter, stating:
I had something unfortunate happen to me and I made the choice to not be a victim- some will applaud and others will judge- that's ok— Amy Weber (@TherealAmyWeber) October 31, 2012
TMZ landed two of the semi-revealing pictures posted here. As of this article, there has been no word as to when the rest of the spread will be released. So, for those of you clamoring to see more, you will probably have to check out her website or Twitter for further updates.
In the end, one has to wonder why these pictures never made it to print. Especially considering that many of Playboy's best-selling editions have featured WWE Divas. Ultimately, that doesn't matter now, as Weber is ready to reveal them soon. So, I guess we will have to wait and see what comes next.
