Fact. It's been a while, but Ivan Rodriguez looks great. With a resurgence in this year's World Baseball Classic, it still baffles me why no team has signed him to a contract yet.
Pudge has been putting up great numbers for the Puerto Rican national team so far in the WBC. He was named the MVP of the tournament's first round.
He's already hit .545 (6-for-11) with two homeruns and 5 RBIs to help Puerto Rico win their first 3 games.
He is using this WBC as an audition for Major League teams. He hit .276 with seven homers. Whoever winds up with him will get an experienced veteran who is a leader in the clubhouse.
