Unranked entering the season, Texas A&M has surprised virtually everyone to this point in the season. A 6-2 record led by a redshirt freshman quarterback under a new coach and athletic director have made the Aggies season memorable. And there are still four games to be played. No longer unranked the No. 16 Aggies have proved they are capable of competing in the SEC West and it is beginning to show by the respect from college football media personalities such as Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples who ranked A&M as his 13th team in this week’s Power Rankings.
