A's Will Continue Negotiating with Drew

The A's declined their half of Stephen Drew's mutual $10MM option earlier today, but assistant general manager David Forst told Joe Stiglich of the Bay Area News Group that the team will continue to negotiate with the shortstop. According to Forst, he feels that the team has reason to be optimistic, but $10MM wasn't a number they were comfortable with (All Twitter links).
