COLUMBIA, Mo. • Moments into what would ultimately become a 33-10 Mizzou romp against Kentucky on Saturday at Faurot Field, a previously hapless Wildcat offense had churned through MU for 63 yards on nine plays to move to the Tiger 12-yard-line. The offense that was 113th in the nation in yards a game (309.25) and 109th in scoring (19.25 a game) was on its way to staking a lead against a Mizzou team whose confidence had to be brittle after an 0-4 league start in its inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference.
